Meet Suzy

Suzy is a unique professional with a broad suite of communication skills honed by appointments in corporate, not for profit and creative sectors.

She flourished as an independent strategic communications consultant: leading teams, managing internal and external communities, delivering campaigns, press briefings, product launches, combining creativity with business acumen.

The happyinschoolproject was created in 2018, in response to her son’s autism and ADHD diagnoses.  Suzy immersed herself in the educational and neurodiversity space. The happyinschoolproject was incorporated as a community interest company (CIC) in 2025.

A personal journey took Suzy deeper into the study of human psychology and healing: She’s a certified Mental Health First Aider and trained Cognitive Behavioural Therapy practitioner, and she invests in ongoing CPD – all of which equips her with many tools to support children, families, and educators.

Her work with schools, parents and associated professionals, is consultative and highly collaborative, enabling a ‘best for the child’ energy to preside in often complex situations. Suzy brings a deeply empathetic approach blending personal insight with evidence-based strategies.

Suzy’s corporate experience makes her the perfect partner to provide expert counsel so companies can better support their neurodivergent talent, driving staff retention and business success.
