Neurodiversity Training

Suzy is a certified Mental Health First-Aider who specialises in delivering dynamic, engaging, and accessible neurodiversity training for a wide range of audiences.

She works with educators, parents, families, and wider communities both online and in-person, ensuring that her sessions are inclusive, practical, and easy to apply. Suzy’s approach combines evidence-based strategies with a genuine warmth and energy that makes complex topics understandable and actionable for everyone involved.

Her talks for educators and allied professionals are designed to do more than just inform—they create space for reflection, personal anecdotes, and action planning. Participants are encouraged to connect theory to their own experiences, developing strategies that can be implemented immediately in classrooms, care settings, or community projects. Through this interactive approach, Suzy helps professionals build confidence, empathy, and practical skills to support neurodiverse learners and colleagues effectively.

In addition to her work with professionals, Suzy provides therapeutic support for families, offering a safe, non-judgmental space to explore worries, challenges, and hopes for growth. Drawing on her lived experience of autism and ADHD, her current knowledge of the UK education system, and two decades of experience in the corporate world, she brings a unique perspective that is both grounded and insightful. Suzy’s trauma-informed methodology is always solution-focused, combining compassion with practical strategies that empower individuals and families to thrive in everyday life.

Thank you so much for inviting me along. It was a very powerful session.  It really reaffirmed the importance of having a space that is outside of both the CAHMS and school systems.  There was a lot to contain, it felt really important for those in the group to be able to let out some of their personal difficulties and be heard.  I felt like the session reaffirmed a lot for me and it has also made me more determined to push for more therapeutic as well as educational spaces for parents.
